adam|zeliasz 05-11-2005, 05:29 PM Im trying to rendermap XSI's hair system onto a low polygon hair mesh. I can't get the rendermap property to apply onto the hair. Any suggestions?

hair are their own primitives in MRay, they are not standard geometry with components that a virtual camera can walk for rendermapping purposes.
hair for games is usually painted and stuck on grids, not rendermapped.
if you can't paint and REALLY need to rendermap hair you can consider using several renderings of tufts of hair and then process them further in photoshop.
