please ignore the eyes, as they are only temporary.

Hey, I like your face texturing and I love the original sketch. You haven't captured the same mood with the 3D version yet though. I realise that some of that comes with the character's expressions (and the eyes, which aren't finished yet), but it's still missing *something*.
The pants are not reading as leather for me either, they look kinda like latex. Is that the intention?
All in all though, it's coming along really well! :buttrock:

Yeah, I now what you mean about the mood thing, unfortunately I'm not the only one with a say in the way things look, so I'm not sure if thinhs will change....
the pants are just a shinny blinn shader so theyre not meant to look like anything yet.

Badass skin Job Blok, love the stylized look. What are you using for skin? Keep the pics coming, looking forward to the other character:)

well right now he looks like hes in hot pants ready to go on a night on the town if you ask me, theres bagage to pants you rarely see the forms so well displayed at all ( I made the same mistake as well). its just a bunch of folds usually like you have in the sketch. Also you might need to change the topo of the shirt to better suit the wrinkles, they need to travel near a 45 degree angle down the shirt. CHeck the clothe topology thread on here, they should show you better than me. also as far as the mood of the sketch, change the eyes to be smaller, and the lids to be smaller as well, large eyes and large lids give a cartoony feel to things more animeish. Also probably make the mouth less wider. All of this is if you want it to feel the same as the sketch, also a harder edge on his cheek bone would give a good feel, if not, then disregard most of this. gl its a nice style btw.

I see what you mean about the pants, I'll see what I can do about that.
The topology pics are quite old, I've taken out most of the detail on the front, because I sill want to make the jacket.
As Far as the head is concerned, I happy with the way it looks, I never set out to recreate the sketch it's just a guide, I probably won't do hair or beard either...
Thanks for the comments.
