CGTalk - AI paths into AE

I'm having some troubles copying adobe illustrator paths into after effects. On the first pc it worked all fine. Now im at another office, tried to copy paste paths from illustrator into after effects, and it doesnt do anything.

Anyone know how to solve this? t.i.a.

Go to the prefs in AI and set the "files & clipboard" setting to AICB and preserve path.

Now this can help, but theres also a bug when you paste path from AI 9 to Afx 6.5 when nothing works. (AI 9 to Afx 5.5 works great.)

ahhh that's it, i wasusing 5.5 on one pc and 6 on the others. Drat:(
