I decided to go for the third person action/adventure genre, but it could work in a FPS situation as well. The idea is that you're entering an abondoned mine shaft in the jungle, and my prop is a decaying mine cart.

Now that finals are over, hopefully I'll have more time to devote to CG projects. I'm going to go ahead and get to work on actual geometry.

So the geometry is pretty much done. If I change anything, it will most likely be tweaks. Time to start unwrapping it.

Well, I didn't get to spend quite as much time on this as I wanted to, but I guess that's the way it goes. I changed a few things around, but here is how it finally turned out:
