No, I haven't got my EarlyBird yet. But I read at the German Forum (c4d-treff) thisparticular problem that might be a bug as several people can reproduce it, and I can reproduce it in my Art7.303:

1/Make new material
2/Color channel
3/bhodinut channel>colorizer
4/Edit
5/Go to Position with TAB and fill in 50
6/Press Enter

I get the message "Not enough memory" and Cinema exits.

PIII800, 512SDRam, Win2KPro sp2

I can't exectly see the reason why I should do this as I usually write the exact value (50 in this case) and then click OK.

Yet still...

Looks like you may have found something there...passing it along to the programmers...

...in the meantime, don't type 50 ;)

Thanks!

Perhaps I did not express myself clear enough: When I don't use TAB, but manually fill in the number, or use the arrows, and then press OK there's no problem. It's only when I use TAB to switch to the box, and then press Enter to apply that I have the problem.

I think requisites for the problem are TAB (or clicked) on the position field and pressing Enter, not 50. I confirmed it on Win2000 and WinME. It may be a bug.
Anyway I always press OK. It's literally OK.:wip:

I fully agree.
Seems tha it does not affect macs.

Me too I prefer pressinbg OK, and I never use TAB.

You know what annoys me about SLA is that if you try and enter a value that is out of range....then obviously it give you the error that the range is not valid...but it doesn't tell you which field you entered incorrectly. Just a gripe and not really relevant....but I feel much better now....thanks.
