CGTalk - Need Some tips//

First of all thank You for helping me out... I luv this site 5 stars from me...

Well... I need some help on 2 things,

1- I need some awsome tips on how to make a real good looking water effect.
2- Some nice render and materials for arquitecture construction.

Note: I use 3ds max, Vray and photoshop expierience.

ps.(sorry for my english, i am kind of rusted on behalf of me beeing 3 years off the US.:sad: )

Plz Help me ASAP... THX guys!!

Maybe i wasn't so clear in my previous post.

If you follow this link there is a Project that i whant to improove, I think that the water efect is too fake and i am willing to improove it, as well as the render.

for my opinion the water is looking quite ok. its just the overall feeling coming by the lack of detail in your scene whats make the idea of unrealism.

I would have to agree, the pool on the beach water looks fine. The other pool/spa water looks okay but I think the angel of the render is what flattens it. The only thing else would be it's reflective state. It doesn't seem to be reflecting anything.
