Just wondering what the concensous was on masking plugins (or Photoshop alone). I usually need clipping paths to bring the images into Quark. Most of the time I just trace around with the pen tool, but how do you folks handle the obvious hair or fur problems, especially if they need cipping paths.

Thanks in advance...

Isn't it possible to create path's from a selection? If so you can use a quickmask for the selection.

converting really fine selection to paths is a nightmare, and I don't think there's a better way to do it than by hand, with Photoshop. I would take illustrator and try to create a mask from there, but the whole point of vectorisation is to lose the details (like sparse hair) and make it easy to work with...)

Why does quark only take clipping masks ? Can use just import alphas ?
