I didn't like the rush animation - it reminded me how pedestrian we've become over the last 30 years. It's embarassing how little we've done, and how much more we can aspire to.

The anim sent a shiver down my spine. Truly amazing work. The best shot was the rocket in telecsope cam shot, but the overall editing and the inclusion of the edited speech / landing chatter along with the background track is inspired.

not really feeling the fantasy entry at all. just because it is fantasy isnt an excuse to have absolutely no realism, these are fx wars. that aside, the winners entry was nice! 2 things i felt could improve it though. the fiery shuttle detachment could have been toned down a little and the second thing when the lander is close to the ground it has no shadow. (maybe thats why its edited to stop the shot). my favorite shot was seeing the lander from above. just like in the real life shots there is very little depth perception and it keeps you guessing how close to the ground it is.
