It is a concept i came up with (no i wasn't high)

A guy sits inside that thing on a chair, his legs and arms stick out through these holes. That way he can use his arms to hold guns and shoot.

The vehicle is driven by that huge ball (future technology i haven't given a name yet).

So what do you all think about this concept?

P.S.: This concept might appear in a personal project game i am working on.

I'm not totally sure I understand the concept...you've got a big ball on the bottom, and then a cylinder on top...the pilot sits in the cylinder, right? The pilot looks out the grate, and has his legs exposed in the bottom, forward facing holes and his arms out the side holes?

I'm not sure why you'd create a vehicle where you'd expose your legs when you're not going to be using them, and the side holes would limit your arm movement to elbows and wrists only, and would make it very awkward to sight a gun, or hold a two-handed weapon.

It looks neat, but I'd relocate the holes to make it more functional.

very wallice and gromitish! I like!... post again when you've got a character in it and it's textured?

I like the design, it has kind of a silly feel to it with arms and legs exposed. Maybe you could have something that covers the legs since they really dont seem to need to be exposed and some arm armor. Keep going!

I think it's a cool idea.

The only thing I can suggest is having the controls of the machine exposed at the front, seeing as his arms and legs are exposed. I don't think it makes sense for the pilot to try to control the vehicle with his butt cheeks, and hold a gun in his hands. It'd be more plausable (I know plausability isn't the main crux of the design) to mount a higher powered weapon to a hardpoint on the vehicle, and have him weilding a joystick/handlebars and some pedals at the front.

But yeah, original idea. Reminds me of something that could be from The Incredibles. I like it. :)
