looks pretty good, mind posting a wireframe so we can see your mesh? the thing i notice on the huey the most is the gatling gun, it problably could be lower poly, i can't really see but it looks like alot of poly were wasted in the barrels
the cobra came out very nice, i like the idea of the cockpit on the huey, perhaps you should do that on the cobra
cool stuff dude, keep us posted

modelling looks good so far. pretty tight and efficient, but retaining a recognisable silhoette in both cases. looks like theres a few 5 sided polys in there though (around the tops and botoms of the windows in the huey particularly). most game engines require triangles or three sided polys, and most game modellers seem to work in quads, then convert or let the engine tristrip the model. five sided polys are (i'm pretty sure) a kind of no no. meantime easy fixed, and good work.

looking forward to textures.

cheers

in highresmodels with softskinned animated parts like faces or the human body... yes... but ingame these are all just tris, it soesn't matter if 5sided or not, as long as the interior edges are fine the whole model will be fine... no problems with n-gons...

nice models, but i think you could save some polies in a few areas

The overall look/proportions seems nice, but the mesh is way to dense. Could be made with a lower polycount at the same detail.

I have to say I'm not a fan of either model. Sorry to be so negative but I'm very familiar with both of these aircraft and have seen many blueprints and references of both. Have you learnt how to apply blueprints as a background? This would definitely help a lot with the UH-1.

Also if you do consider a major overhaul of both models make sure your references are of the same aircraft. There are many models of UH-1 and AH-1. Some are practically different aircraft with the amount of changes made to them.
