Looks cool, and i know its only practice but i would like to see some different texturing as its hard to tell between pieces like the sash flowing of of it ...other then that its looks good.
I don't think their is a texture on it at all, just flat shaded with the normal map. Anyway, looks awesome dude, zbursh is a powerful tool and you wield it well. <hehe pun> :) It'll look even better with a texture on it., congrats.

Your flag hanging off the axe is awfully shiny.. I also don't see a reason for it to be standing straight out the way it is.. there doesn't appear to be a post or any solid way for it to be attached to the axe. At first, I thought it was an extra blade, which would have been very odd.
The textures on the axe look pretty good.. My main critique is that it appears unwiedly.. It LOOKS one handed, which can be done with a double headed axe, but for some reason I can't pin down, it doesn't look balanced, to me. Perhaps adjust your lighting a bit?

Cool work buddy. I'm only not sure about the blades color. maybe they should be more gray then yellow?? Andmaybe blade should be larger. it's my opinion dude.
Take care.

This is a fun prop. I think the flag on the side would work better without the mapping applied to it so it would appear more like cloth.
