View Full Version : Copy LRA Position?

Anybody know how to copy the orientation of one LRA to another?

I know it'd be pretty easy to just make a new joint to do it, but I'm trying to avoid that at the moment for the set up it requires, and I've tried duplicating a joint that is oriented the way I want it, pulling it down the chain and parenting it under the joint I want oriended to get it in the right place. It worked for some of them, but not all of them. No plain orient constraints either, cause I'm trying to keep some skin attached to it.

Anyway, there a script out there some where that somebody knows about? Or some attribute I can go read or a way to get a script to spit out telling me it's orientation?

just a stab in the dark, but it looks like its a combination of the rotate axis attribute and the joint orientation attribute... but that will probably open up a whole can of worms itself.
