Hi folks,
The EB has only just landed for some of us in the UK - so excuse me if this is real 'R8 newby' ;)
Just wondering why we still need a separate co-ordinates manager alongside the new co-ordinates panel in the AM? Neither seems to have the 'full functionality' of the other. Why not combine them into one full fledged AM version?
For example:
The AM co-ord panel lacks pull down mens for object / world, size, scale etc.?
Also;
Say you have two objects selected. Typing '+2' at the end of a position field in the old co-ord manager will move the objects '+2' units - but will retain their relative positions to each other. In the new AM co-ord panel, doing the same thing will co-locate the objects on that axis.
Why not have the AM version so that when a figure is typed into to the grayed out field(s) starting with a maths symbol like "-", "+" or "/", the objects move the specified distance - while retaining relative position to each other, if no symbol, they co-locate at the new position.
Hoping this is understandable.
