removing frame edges

COuld you explain in more detail? What do you mean by "the edges of the frame of the clip? Do you mean that the clip you imported has a frame around it? Very odd, probably intended. Unfortunately if there was a frame added to the clip then you can only get rid of it in After Effects or some other compositing tool. You can always lay something over it but that'd just be a larger frame. If you don't mind lossing al little of the crispness of the clip, you can always stratch it until the frame doesn't show. Unfortunately you can't crop the video in Premiere.
