i did a render to a multipass file (with all channels on) but the danel reflections are missing. except in the rgba-channel...
how do i get them to show up on a seperate channel?

i guess they wont. they're not being registered as reflection rays or whatever. the only way to do this is to recreate your danel in the normal material i.e. put lumas in your luminance channel, turn off color and specular channels, put fresnel in the reflection channel and maybe layer it with the free distance falloff plugin from plugin cafe... voila, danel with reflections that will appear in multipass.

bad news... but still thanks a lot for the info/help.
i was going crazy... searching through forum after forum and looking for a solution in the manual.
looks like a have to use the rgba channel and cheat for the time being. because i have no time to redo my whole setup. maybe next time.
are there other shaders that do not play well with multipass (bhodinut or others)? because this might help others find the info in the future.

looks like my abillity to find things is nearing its end... who needs sleep to function properly?
i cannot find anything on this plugincafe site. not even the smalest hint where all the plugins have gone... but then i found this via google:

and there i finally found the distance falloff plug... hooray!
