View Full Version : Should we have a FAQ thread here?

Just wondering if anyone else thought it would be a good idea to start a sticky FAQ thread on the Maya forum?

Questions like "Can I do GI in Maya?", or
"[insert app name here]<->Maya conversion?" Crop up quite a lot. While I've nothing against newbie questions, it could be quite useful for us too, n'est-ce pas? For instance, collating all the tips that Jason Schleifer et. al. have given out on rigging in to one place would be handy.

Anyone else got views on this? I wouldn't mind doing a fair bit of the work in constructing this if people want to.

I would agree. I am usually pretty helpful to all new people who come here, but I don't tend to answer the same question more than once. At best I'll direct them to a past thread, maybe a sticky is a good thing to have.

Now everyone please participate and keep the thread alive.

8 months from now it can be one hell of a resource.
