Why it is downloading so long?? bmp or so high resolution?? Doesn't matter, it is worth of waiting. texture, and waiting for some wires.
Cool stuff.

Oh wow! She's gorgeous! I really love your texture work. The colors are really appealing. I hope you can post some wires of her too, because I really learn a lot from studying other peoples wires.
Cheers

Very cute. :)
Nice, relaxed pose. Very natural.
And like the others have asked before me, some wires would be nice. :)

Great stuff!
I love those unusual, pastely colours, and the whole thing is very reminiscent of trendy japanese fashion (what with the sock things, and the hanky on her head)
Nice textures, though the overall style is somewhat odd - its like realisic, but luminous and cartoony.
Ive just noticed - its remarkably low poly, and the texture is pretty damn efficient for 256!!! Excellent job in that department!
Nice to see it posed too.
Looking forward to more pics, and i should be intrested to see the wireframe
Woo yay! My 1600th post!

You should do a quality render and post this in the finished work section to.
This should make front page.... where's Bobo?

I really love the look of this one. The colors work very well together. And she just looks very cute! :D
Only thing I would comment on is that the shaodw work for here hair on her face is maybe a bit too dark and sharp, but the rest looks awesome. ;)
Show more if you have some. :)

thx everyone. i just wake up. en . sorry, as it is just finished
so i don't post more pictures. now here is wireframe screenshot.
as i just plan use less polygon for this model. so only give necessary segments on key part.
so for basic animation. this model should be ok.

http://www.chinadv.com/forum/Web/UpFiles/2005/5/6/68369535.jpg
and i also happy with some fine-turning of modeling. (see below picture)
before waist part is flat. it is too faked. and it need use texture to show
volume. so i hadd two triangle in side . no more polygon in front.
so with good texture. it looks great with less polygon. it looks there are real
polygon in all views.

great work - i like the cute, pastelly character very much and nice costumedesign too!
you have used your polys very well.
just two things i noticed:
- her folds could have more contrast, the shaded areas are very subtile
- her nose looks flat. i think itīs cause missing of brighness on the nasal bone and some highlights, so that the nose can stand up a bit out of her face.

very nice work.
There is only one thing thats seriously glareing at me that I can't let go. Your mesh is looking realy good. I love your texture work. But your UV allocation could use a bit of leveling out. Right now your head and hair are takeing up more then a fourth of your texture page. This is causing the larger portions of the body to have very big and pixilated look. This is very evident in the chest, back, and lower torso area, where much of the finer detail is VERY pixilated. I say shrink down the resolution you gave for the head and hair, your useing a fourth of your texture memory for something that only takes up an 8th of the body, granted you want it alittle bit bigger concidering its where people are going to be focusing in on first. But a fourth of your page seems like a bit of over kill. Ecpecialy when it is takeing away from other parts of the body that need it.
Also, I know and understand your working with a very low poly and texture count, but cemitry in the wrinkles on a single piece of clothing is a dead give away that the texture is mirrored. I know that you have to walk a fine line with this because of your texture memory, but if all the wrinkles meet in the middle of the figure and then mirror over to the other side, it makes it stop looking like wrinkles and makes it look more like a painted design, or she folded her shirt over some kind of dirt. You can get away with mirroring cloth on legs and arms becuase they are far enough apart that when you focus on them with your eyes, your only going to be able to focus on one of them at a time. But in the future you should try to save your mirroring for things that don't tend to fold or lead someones eye in one direction. Becuase when it meets up in the middle, it will destroy the illusion.

thx very much too! your feedback is also very helpful:)
To Shadow Slayer::thumbsup:
thx very much for your feedback. when i finished this model. i also realize
the problem os UV allocation . when i start on texture. i want to show off of head.
so give too much space for head . and it can be looks very closely for head without any
pixal problem. and so does hair. i think i had run all power of head texture. no any waste.
for mirror issues. i also had think about . when i try to break mirror and make un-symmetry for whole body.
but i am failed. i choose the way of reduce pixal with mirror mapping and also with less varying. it looks
not illusion. but can looks closly. but i also make litte decoration line on leg to break symmetry. it is
what i can do for this model. yes. i will try to adjust UV allocation with your feedback.
:bounce: thx very much again for your feedback. it is very good suggestion and aim to key of problem. :)

Love the model! This is very inspirational for me as i still have a bit of trouble with how many poly's i should add on for detail. You showed me that you can compensate a lot with the texture. Very nice, kudos to you!
