View Full Version : Help with Maya 6.5 Error: File Corruption Detected

Any ideas? I just installed Maya 6.5 yesterday, and started getting these errors today:

// Error: File corruption detected. //
// Error: Please exit Maya WITHOUT saving or you may end up corrupting your //
// Error: main file as well. //

I have a character with Shave hair on him (and he's worked in 6.5 with 6.5 Shave yesterday and most of the day today). When I try to open a file with the character in it, I get that error.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

try "export selection" of everything but the shave nodes...

My first guess would be an error caused with the plugin..

maya can have problems with unregistered plugins that create nodes (with node IDs) that might mix with registered plugins
