I just found this sight while searching up information on subD modeling. I've been missing out apparently! Lots of familiar names from over the years, and so much amazing 3d.
I've been working on this figure for a couple weeks in my free time. It one of my first attempts at polygonal/subD style modeling. I've done 3d for a number of years, but mostly boring stuff - I am a forensic animator currently :)
Anyway, on to the interesting part, right? 3dsMax 4.26 using Brazil

There's a damn crease on the lip that refuses to cooperate, and the eyeballs lack any sort of luster :/ I just started on the torso this evening, and I am lacking reference. I am bringing an anatomy book home tomorrow so i can correct some issues there.
Here's the sketches for my mask ideas. I notice a lot of other folks are using the gas mask theme, but hey, its my first go at a challenge :D

Anyhow, thanks for looking! Hopefully I can get a considerable amount done towards the goal in the next couple weeks. Comments, suggestions, and outright flames are welcome and appreciated!
