Hi,
i like the modelling, but i don't want to drive that thing :D
For a superbike the tank is much to big and the driver position to upright. You won't be able to sit on it without getting poked in the back. The exhaust is to near to the drivers leg and the steering is set back way too much (more like an enduro then a superbike). Fast bikes usualy have the gribs before the instruments not behind.
The cog wheel is not equipped to stand the power of a superbike and i think the brake disks won't live to try a second brake from 200 km/h to zero.

Hope that helps
Srek

looks nice but I agree with srek you need to raise the seat and maybe lenthen it a little, but it doesn't really matter about the workings as long as it looks good.

:D Thanks, mates! Iīll see what i can do. Functionality wasnīt the main reason to start doing this but it sure would be nice to do the proportions so a zygote would fit on it nicely..

Yep. The proportions were so off even i realised it... ;) So i changed it a bit and now a Zygote can sit on it with no problems... :D

Still very wip:

Hi,
what are the handles at the side for?
Also the front shock absorber is restricting the steering.
If the joint at the front is meant for steering, then forget it :)
It has to be located at the center of the frontwheel, otherwise you would have a very asymetric handling of the bike.
Despite the critic, i quite like the big :)

Greetings
Srek

Thanks, mates! Those handles are for the driver to hang on... ;) Will make the fixes you suggested for the steering, Srek, thanks!

if the frame was at an angle with the front facing down... wouldn't that give it more of a speedy look?

The bike is really nice but I can't seem to get over the seating style... give the gas tank more of an angle to make more from for the persons torso... do something...

Nice work

The handles fold down to the sides like normal handle bars yes?

Hi,
sorry but i don't think this thing is driveable. The handles are much to low and to near to the knees of the driver. http://www.bonkers.de/bikes/x11_12c.jpg
This is the bike i'm currently driving. Have a look at the placing of the handles and the height of the drivers seat. Sitting on your bike would let my knees touch the ground when going into the slightest curve.
I do like the modelling very much, but you are completely wrong about the proportions :thumbsdow

PS Where to put the feet?

Thanks for the crit srek! First of all this bike should never be used in real life... Secondly iīve designed it to be much much tighter in "fitting" than a Honda X11.
When you drive a "retro" like your Honda you donīt have to lean forward to reach the handles. The bike is also more loosely designed to allow all sized people to fit in comfortably. My bike is not like that.
What comes to the place for feet part, as i said the end is near. I didnīt say the bike was ready... ;)

Ok, with the figure on the bike it looks different :)
From this picture it looks like the bike is over 3 meters long, whereas a X11 is 2.1 meters. The figure sits very upright on your bike, much more upright then on a X11.
Have a look at this Ducati
http://www.ducati.com/docs_eng/photogalleries/021008drmug/images/04_b.jpg
You will notice the comparative size of the bike in relation to the people. Your bike is about 1.5 to 2 times the size and the top rim of the tank will be in the height of the breastbone of a standing man. Notice the wheels on the photo will reach at most to the knees of the people, yours will end just below the hip.
Try to stand the figure beside the bike and holding it, and you will se what i mean.
Hope this wasn't to harsh ;)

Srek

Yep. A massive sucker ainīt it..? :D Those dudes are playing with toys on a racetrack. This bike is meant to travel for example through Germany in a couple silly hours... About 300 mph needs decent tyring; not the wheels of a go-kart.. ;)

The texture as a tyre tread looked so cr*ppy i decided to model the tread. A hard task but well worth it. What do you mates think?

Wow tkay great work and that plastic texture is photorealistic (hint hint ;) ;) ) I have one tiny little problem with it the chrome exhaust looks to shiny for the rest of the model could you tone is down a little?
