if i have a bunch of models and there texture locations are all hard coded like C:bla/bla/bla

instead of source images/byal.jpg


how do i repoint all of them at once so they are looking with in a content directory ya know ?

oh and it would be cool if there is an easy way in maya to do it

and a mel way so i can batch a bunch of files

Set your project to where ever you have the directory. go to File>Project>Edit Current. Then change the name for the source images folder.

i don't think that will work because the objects wheren't created using a content directory

so they have no link to like a source images folder they just use unc paths
