I wonder how much of this, and XBox's results, are down to people waiting for the Next Gen.

I REALLY don't think anyone is thinking right now "Hmm, I'll just wait another 8 months before I buy another video game."

How does this compare with overall sales in the game industry?
I suppose I am curious to know if this is a sign of lack of quality products from EA, or market saturation?

There are other companies that have recorded higher profits for the same quarter, such as Ubisoft for example. It's EA's fault, not the industry.
