View Full Version : after effects crashing when i export to anything...

hello all,

i have a composition in after effects, 2 mov files and some animate text effects,one light
when i am trying to export this project as anything keeps crashing after i click the export file i am taking the following msg..

after effect has crushed...contact adobe or visit our site support...bla bla bla

i have AMD 2.4
Geforce 2GTS
1GB RAM

any help ?

Use the render queue instead of the export funtion. Click composition at the top then "Add to render queue". A new window should pop up which lets you set your render options, set them then click render.

P.S if the render queue window doesnt pop up when you click 'add to render queue', just click window at the top and then "render queue".

thanks, i ve tried this with the render queue it worked but i had the same problems again after 3 times

When in doubt... format... or buy a mac :)

Sounds like you may have conflicting plugins. Remove third party plugins if your problem persists!
