Re lighting post.
Seems to me that at this moment the models look great, the textures are great, but some how the lighting makes the two look as though they are rendered seperatly and then put together afterwards. It remind me of monatage, and maybe that was the plan? If not then perhaps you could concider giving the front face, on the left side of the image a bit of a fill light so that it isn't completly is shadowm which I think would make it look a bit less singular.
Just a thought. Good luck in the last few hours..........!

while analyzing the master/ slave relatioship,i find particularly
interesting the aspects of responsibility and reliance that this
situation presents.
to impllement this idea i chose to create a soldier and commander,
focusing on the interaction between them- on the one hand direct and
extreme, on the other hand intrecate and complicated.
the soldier risks his life by obeying every oreder of the commander,
not knowing where he'll be sent, why, when or which scene of horror he
will go through. the only thing he knows is that he must do as told.
the commander is not always at great physical risk himself, yet on him
lie the life of his soldier and the fate of his nation.he must see the
goal, the big picture, and use the soldier ruthlessly to achieve this
goal, while knowing first hand the impossible situations of war that
the soldier will experience.
i decided to express this relationship by the use of portraits.the
close up compisition emphasizes the personal aspects of their facial
expressions.the frontal pose references back to army order and
stiffness.
i chose not to create a modern soldier and commander to avoid
contemporary political interpretation and allow the viewer to focus on
the impossible intimacy between this soldier and his commander.
