My thumbs....crit away:buttrock: Don't have access to my scanner at the present time...so I drew these with a mouse on my laptop and tried to match what I drew earlier.

Hey thanks Vitor....i'm going to do a couple of different thumbs...just to see if I can come up with some more interesting poses...I think the ones I have now could use some work. More to come....:buttrock:

maybe he is fine when the sword is in, but then he goes to pull it out, and that is when he runs into trouble.

This might be gross, but maybe when he pulls the sword out, he has a bunch of organs skewered on the sword like a shishkabob (sp?).

He's all fine and proud until he notices the organs on the sword - then he panics.

Ok...so after moving back to AZ after living in Vegas for two months, i've returned to this. So here's my blocking thus far...comments on timing and poses are most welcome. Thanks for having a look. And sorry for failing to comment on others:blush:

If anyone could make any comments I would greatly appreciate it...or if it looks good the way it is...perhaps a "continue" would be fine...just want to get some opinions on what I have so far before moving on.

Thanks alot:)

Looks nice :)

The first 3 poses I didnt really like or understand, they didnt mean any thing to me, right now they just seem like they'r there to pass the time, you mite want to create more interesting poses, you could make him move and watch the whole crowd and not just one point like he does now

The forth pose is very nice, But I would make the fingure stand out more, make it very easy to see, you could do that by placing it very high, After that on the 5th pose, you could make the sword stand out more, right now he's just standing there and holding the sword, You could make the sword stand out by taking that second hand down and away from the sword, and making the whole body seem like its pointing to it, lean a bit to the side of the sword.

Other then that, it could use more work on the timing, there's a pose there where he raises the sword and it passes by too fast, also the whole thing seems a bit too slow.

Any way I hope this helps :) keep it up  oh and check out my animation

Just updated the beginning a bit. Haven't touched the later parts. Again thanks for the crits Amir....they are much appreciated...and having looked at some things...I think I can improve the poses alot. I'll comment on some others today as well.

hi remi,
the updated start is making alot more sense now - i like the confident walk on - what i would consider changing is when he bends the sword i would make it a bit more bend and i woudl make him flex it twice for clarity
looks good so far though and im looking forward to seeing some more

cheers

Looking really nice Remi. I love the "ooooooo" pose he makes at the start when he walks in.

Keep it coming man!

Uhhhggg...I went on vacation and I just got back yesterday. What I have done isn't final and I apologize greatly. Congrats to everyone who stuck with it and got it done!!! Has the voting begun? Great work to everyone and I hope that I see the final versions from everyone that started even if it isn't done by the deadline.
