Geez, there are so many it's hard to limit the choice to 3. Currently I'd have to say:

1. DAZPointNormalMove
2. Edge Tools
3. Stretch Point

1) Vertibevel - Never leave home witout it.

2) Edge Tools - took me a while, but know I really apreciate them.

3) Picky (colour picker) - It might only be a colour picker, but I've been using it for so long I wouldn't feal comfortable without it.

This is an interesting thread -- I have always been "Plugin Lord" -- but I find that the lack of people talking about layout plugins, most are modeler based, and not "commercial" -- lots of freebies there. Also -- it's meant as "can't live without" -- G2, though it ROCKS, hasn't been out there long enough for this status, IMO.

Any reasons that you can think of?

I'd have to break this into top 3 of each --

Modeler Commercial
1. Vertibevel
2. Polygon Cruncher
3. Macroform

Modeler Freebie
1. Edgetools
2. Speedy Quad
3. Mentory

Layout Commercial:
1. IFW Shaders
2. KeyTrack
3. Worley Sasquatch Full

Layout Freebie:
1. Mirrorbomes
2. Content Director
3. ICARUS (well, I haven't done a commercial project with it yet)

Oooh, good question.

Modeler:

1. Edge Tools. I can't even think of modeling without them. I continue to find new uses for them almost every time I model.

2. All of Cman's tools. Seriously. His plugins have saved me days of modeling time, and most recently his Align to Rail was essential in hitting an important deadline. Newtek should seriously consider including his plugins as part of Modeler.

3. 3DD Point Rail Selector. It could also go to KAG Extender, but since I there's nothing else like it in the Modeler package, I have to give it the honors.

I'm more of a Modeler person at the moment, but for Layout, the #1 plugin I can't live without is PViewGN. Since I've installed it, not a session has gone by where I haven't used it for setting up cameras and lights. I find it to be absolutely indispensible.
