just a quick question. ive been able to sucessfully create a rain effect using layers of particle playground, and that works fine and is pretty easy, but is there any way to create the effect of looking up into the rain, as opposed to through it at eye level?

I would say... particular (trapcode) would do the job but it's not free ;)
