I'm starting a new picture hopefully tonight, and I'd like to ask the advice of people on what colors to use. Unfortuantely, I only get concepts in my head, and so when I go to paint them in Photoshop, I don't see any colors. I always sketch things out by hand in line-art form first, and then scan it in to color it.

This image is a stretch for me on a lot of ways. A: there are a million jillion figures in it. B: I've never had a good sense of perspective, or putting people into perspective. All my drawings are pretty flat and don't have a lot of depth, because I focus on one main character or group. In this picture there's a much different relationship between the main character and the point of focus, I guess. (Did that make any sense?)
Anyways, the story of Ophelia is breifly summed up as this: She is born six times. She dies right after birth the first five times, but her mother makes a mark on her foot to mark her, and the sixth time she returns. She is christened as godspawn, and grows to be the favorite of her father, King Narudas. Narudas becomes greedy and marches on the kingdom of Ranja, a jungle kingdom of magic and prosperity that every king envies. Narudas sacrifices everything to rule Ranja, and Ophelia is given the right by the ghosts of Ranja to set things right against her father. She becomes the Queen of the Dead.
I was thinking of using a green as a base color, but I'm not sure which colors to mix it with. Ideas?
