View Full Version : is there a script or plugin to do this in maya

im changing from max to maya and im finding most things are enough the same that its not to hard but there is a script i use alot in my space scenes that im trying to see if there is something like it for maya it takes all the faces then randomly extrods a small amount then on top of that makes some more smaller extrudes giving it a sort of borg cube look here is a pic of what i mean its called greeble

and one last thing there are 2 really good sites about scripts and plugins that are max only scriptspot.com and maxplugins.de are there anyother good sites like that for maya ?

here is the options panel the "modefy for render only " is a good option that helps alot when you have a lot in a big scene and cganging the widget size lets you use it do all kinds of kewl thing like this well using greeble

i can do it in 11 days if your shiny silver suitcase hold enough green dollar bills :D


Anyway.... i think you should ask someone with a good knowledge in melscripting..... i think it can be done with just a script.

Just need to know where you can get hold of such script :)
