View Full Version : Self portrait...sort of... :hmm:

Taking a welcome break from my programming shenanigans I decided to have another read of "Drawing on the right side of the Brain". Sometimes I can draw - sometimes I can't.

Anyway, I decided to have a crack at a self-portrait but I ended up doing my own thing. I started off with a photograph of myself( I get headaches holding still for hours on end! ) but got bored and "did it my way"...away, it was just an exercise from the book so I thought I would share it with you guys...

Hmmm...y'know, the scanned image looks a tad squashed, horizontally speaking... :argh:

looks pretty good boone, the line and proportion looks solid, and intended. did you do this in PS or on paper?

Awesome work Boone! Wow...That book is really...Really good. I meant, you couldn't draw crap! And now...Look at you! (Just kidding about "You couldn't draw" part. :p)

Great work man! Very inspiring!
