Title: Used Film Roll
Name: Tan Hin Jitt
Country: Malaysia
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

I'm using 3D studio max to create the art works then later on touch up the film surface using the photoshop.

The reflection of the film is a bit high I think but I wish anyone can give me some comments on it. Of course not only the reflection, any kind of comments I would like to hear so, thank you.

I like it, but the reflection are too "heavy" for me..

I may be cool but the reflection is like a mirror and it's make it wired. The composition is not interesting, add some element on back or don't place all rolls on the same place. Try to adjust the shadow, I don't know what happend with it but if you find, make the trick.

I like it but it's can be better

I agree with the above posts.

But to add a little, you may want to actually model some film hanging out of one or two of them to give this a little more personality.

Very nice, though I have to agree with the others about the reflections. Film capsules aren't supposed to have that amount of gloss or reflection. The plastic looks like it was grafted from Darth Vader's shiny helmet. Still, I like the juxtaposition of the film canisters. It would have been boring to see all of them sitting along the same axis in the same orientation. Well done with the modeling, by the way. The mapping of the logos and whatnot is also great, but it would look far more realistic by toning down the reflectiveness and specularity. Don't worry about it though--I'm trigger-happy when it comes to reflections, too. ;)

It's a bit too much reflective (as a matter of fact I'm just watching a piece right now) but I like your work. Also, a background would help your composition !

Keep up !
