View Full Version : sorry I missed the tip today
LucentDreams 10-06-2002, 08:52 AM gaaaaagh, sorry I missed the tip today, was going to post one this evening before I went to sleep, but alas I took the garbage out and locked myself out, had to wait 6 1/2 hours for my roomate to show up before I could get back in and its raining here in vancouver (big surprise, NOT) just to make it all the more fun. thanks goes out to Jdub for posting a small little tidbit there so luckily we can say we still have had a least one tip per day, and forunately you will have two more in the morning, dealing with making selections even easier and quicker and how to control the display of things in the editor even more. Man have they added a lot of tiny things into this release.
Any suggestons on what people would like to see more of or learn more about for HOWto's and such, I still have a few ideas for tips, but I wanna make sure now that some people, except Adam have had a few days to test a little, they might have a clue where they want to focus a little more while they wait for their final copy with documentation.

Broken in, sorry no this is a large downtown apartment building, and our lanlord is sort like a horrible dictator. 4 our slot everyday to do laundry in, and its during office hours so that no one is able to do laundry cause they are all at work or school, so every one fights to do laundry on the weekend. Anyway, in a normal building the landlord would likely let you in and even unlock your door for you, not ours, he gave me a lecture over the intercom about being more careful, and then tells me to get a hold of my roomate, who's out partying with friends, and has no cell phone. I stayed out of the rain, went to bookstores and tim hortons for coffee and such, was quite relaxing, but I got nothing done today.
Hey Bjotto, to wind the studio bundle, all you have to do is send me $5000, and and you'll automatically win it from me ;) Or you can wait till a contest for it actually shows up (become a postforum pro member they might hae a contest for R8 in a few months all you have to do is be a PF pro memebr and your automatically entered.)and then just make sure you win the contest ( I would advise against killing other competitors to increase your odds as I don't think most Prisons allow for PC's in your cell, never know with those minimum security prisons though, a sex offender walked right out of the minimum security fascility just south of vancouver a few weeks ago.)

When I preordered from Maxon they said I was automatically entetered in a contest. First prize was an upgrade to Studio. I think second prize was your module of choice, and then there were a bunch of T-shirts. But I never win anything. :(
