cool cool.
I like it,
i'd say the background could be sharper/more detailed,
but if you didnt want it that way, thats cool too.

I also think it could use another element to it,
like a fallen comrade or enemy. or something creepin up behind him?
or a foreground piece of scenery, like a chunk of fallen building.

still its nice work

That cracked me up.

I think it is really nicely done. After I looked at it for a couple min I can say that I have a hard time believing that you drew the body inside before you did the armor around him. His head looks small compared to his hip relation.

But who cares, really nice image with good emotions and color scheme to boot.

You get some of these :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Awesome work once again. The only thing that I can say is that in some places it looks like you painted the background "around" him rather than "behind" him, if that makes sense. For example the end of his spear. Anyway, that's really no big deal in my opinion. Great job.

I kind of like that approach, it makes it more like an oil painting that way.

I really like it, the feeling of death and despair... the end of a war... :D

There are some strange thing. The head looks really thin.
I like the background but around the end of the spear the colors are weird. and The spear looks flat, too.

But that's really amazing, like the colors.. etc.. :buttrock:

Yes great colors, but th face does look a little weak, missing some dynamic lighting and emotion. It's hard to tell what he's thinking in opther words ;)

very nice. how long have you been into painter?

I agree about the comments about the head being to small compared to the body....but I could dig it if that is the style in his world.

It also seems as though the upperbody weight is shifted a tad much to the left...maybe a bit of bend at the hips to bring the shoulders over to the right and add contra posto might do it.

I really like the color choices and the texture of the piece.

:d

btw. work on your jump shot during the eaba off-season :)

Fantastic, the color of choise are great.. Will try to maybe use a simular palette for my next coloring project...

I do agree that the background, feels like it is around him instead of behind. But that also give the image a nice claustrophobic touch, if you understand what I mean.

Great work...

I think its a nice image. But I think you should increase the size of the head maybe just scale it up in photoshop. I did something similar and drew a guy in armor, later draw a human body overtop to see how the proportions were and they were off. At the moment it looks like if you took away the armor, not only would he have a small head but he'd have no neck. Its very well painted, but maybe you could add some contrasting colors highlighting here and there.

Very nicely done top stars. I love the new ideas you have used in the body(neck) armor and the spindly radio antenna.

Very nice

yeah, maybe the head is a little small...i was playing with it, and I wanted the armor to look bulky, so i guess it ended up a touch on the small side. It's a bad habit.

Deepfried:

I just bought a copy recently and have been teaching myself the tools...so not that long at all. I really like it though...the ability to rotate the canvas on the fly rules.

Regarding the EABA....how about I just work on my passing and save everyone some trouble?

i actually love the background and the whole feel of the painting.
there's so much power in his movement, like a frazetta piece.
