Something I made up a while ago, just for some fun and for learning.

I wanted to see if I could model and animate an organic creature, but with mechanical working parts....all of a sudden I decided it might be cool to try and make and animate a mechanical caterpillar, then the mechapillar was born. It was one of my first major models and animations I came up with on my own.

Looks like some kind of Japanese toy. I think it's cute in it's own way and wouldn't mind owning one as a pet :D

hey dude....thats a real kinky mechapillar....and i really dig the other models on your site...

the animation looks fine...though an up - down movement would surely help...
would suggest you to add an obstacle for the pillar to make the animation a bit more challenging....

ps - psst...pssst....do i get to play with your rigs too? mmmm.....
