Sweet modeling skills.

The area under the breasts looks a little strange, where the skin folds are. It looks like his lungs have collapsed!

Great sense of attitude in the face.

Very good, besides my humble critisism.

That is probably the best modeling i've seen for a two month old modeler.....ever.

Great work alex. Can't wait to see what you can produce after 4 months;)

Wow, this model clearly looks as if you been using XSI for a couple of years. I am very impressed. My only critque would be that the position of the nipples does not look right imho. However the face and muscle structure are awesome!

Wow, great job. Your sculting skills really transitioned well into 3d modelling. Are you using any references or image planes?

oliveira
04-29-2005, 01:23 PM
Hi cg219!!

no, i not used nothing like reference, i just begin it from a cube and was change it moving the points...
i will begin a new project in a week that i will begin doing a skecth before i begin the model,
but i will use it just to find what i'm looking for ,i not intend use the sketch like a image plane,
i like use the XSI like a piece of clay, just modeling ,without planes,
however , sometimes some sculptors use planes in clay too....
i will let you see the sketch before i begin the model,
i will post it here!

thanks again

Alex

Excellent model. Very impressize. Only thing I see is that the back could have been a bit more define, but that's just a nit pick.

Great to see people using XSI more and always good to see a good modeler throw his or her hat in the ring.

Great job!

Very Blizzardish character ;), whatever it means. I would be lucky to see it rendered with Pixie.

looks really great, very detailed and the expression of the face is what i like most. :)

the shoulders look a bit strange to me (front view) and the back as already mentioned could have more muscle definition, but anyway, really a great piece of work.

can`t wait to see more. BTW could you post a wire?

cheers,
dean

Wow for two months in Cg:eek: Well actually I am not so surprised. But it does show that traditional experience does apply to 3D. Well done, can't wait to see more.

aint no suprise since your sculptures are also fantanstic. On to the critique part. His ears and lips need some more work, theres a strange fold in the lips right now looks like its pinching a bit, and Im guessing the back has yet to be worked on fully at this point, but thats all I have to say

Yeah man this really proves that it helps a lot to start off when sculpting, or to have a traditional backround. I guess it really helps the modeling process. Great work man, I'm also a fan of your work.
