View Full Version : Warranty for Boxx notebook?

I am wondering if anyone has had any experiences good or bad dealing with Boxx in terms of warranty service? More specifically if anyone else is scared off a bit by the one year warranty for the notebook? Or maybe its just me being a little obsesive. Lastly does anyone know if an extended third party warranty is availible? Thanks for any thoughts.

I got the Rock (http://www.rockdirect.com/) Extreem Ti 3.4ghz, basically the same spec as the Boxx and comes with a built in 3 Year warenty. I would have been seriously tempted if the price were the same and it had a decent warenty. The only difference I can see is that the Boxx uses a Quadro FX card and the Rock uses a GeForce 6800 Go (which makes absolutely no dif to me as I use Lightwave for my 3d which has not the best OpenGL so dont take advantage of any of the quadros feastures) Oh and the Rock worked out at about £200 cheeper.
