View Full Version : how to get light work in realtime mode??
zinzin 04-28-2005, 01:52 AM when I use either direx or openGL mode, that lights seems doesn't work anymore!
I persum the light probably should be applied some kind of shader like material ~and it s realtime type!
but I dont know how to do this!
can anyone give a hint please!!!
where I can find the node!! thank you very much!!

- Maybe you have too many lights in your scene.
- DirectX and OpenGL only support a limited number of lights.

I actually just put one light in my scene, it doesn't work at all, I delete it and make another~ same result!
I am using xsi4.2, displaying normal and color map in openGL mode, with radeon card!
any hits!!

hey pal
well they only work with spot lights
points wont do
and u got to have the viewport on openGL.
have fun...
