View Full Version : Painter RGB 8 bits or 16, to Photoshop

Currently i'm working with Photoshop CS and Painter IX, but when i move a file from Painter (wich i use the most) to Photoshop, in photoshop it looks darker.... in both programs i'm using RGB, in Photoshop 8 bits, but i painter i can't find if i'm using 8 or 16 bits.. can anyone give me a hand with it?

I don't think Painter has a 16-bit RGB mode, but the same file looking darker in Photoshop sounds more like a color management issue.

hmm.. thanks for answering.. but what's a color managment issue? and how it can be solved?
