CGTalk - plasma question

i have made my .w3d file

people have told me to download a trial version of director...i have done that

however, i cannot open my .w3d file into director

in order to have my .w3d file on a webpage it has to have been exported through director

does anyone know why my .w3d file won't open in macromedia director?

hey kirokiro

forgive me but i dont recall exactly what i did when i was doing this... are you using the shockwave exporter from max? well once you've done that, import it into director8.5 and volia. however i dont know what this plasma thing is, so my post has probably been a waste of your time :(

so instead of opening my file in director, i'm going to have to go to file - > import?

Sure you must import the w3d not open it, there is a french little help at 3dstation.net to correctly export biped (finally it worked)
