Title: Bathroom Scene
Name: Juha Nilsen
Country: Finland
Software: LightWave 3D

Hi,

This is a bathroom scene I did for rehearsing my modeling and rendering skills.

I used a great render by Dragonhun as a reference.

The modeling took approx. 4 hours and rendering 6 hours. (six arealights, no radiosity)

Cheers,

nice modeling , i like the ambient maybe a little burn in some areas but nothing that can make this scene look bad.

Very nice render:thumbsup:
I think you nailed the look and feel. You say no radiosity, so just direct lighting with photoshop processing?

this is awesome stuff, like the lightning, and you said no radiosity... well very nice!

Thanks a lot, guys.

Yes, no radiosity. I used arealights and ambient occlusion for textures to create a radiosity-like atmosphere. Some postprocessing in Photoshop.

I like it, and the first thing that got in my mind: i've seen this before. And then i read your discription. But very well done. I think you overdid the postprocessing (contrast).

Lighting is very good.

Really nice, the only thing that caught my eye is the end of the bog roll, the little curve at the end is a little too perfect.
