Title: Slayer
Name: Robert Westmore
Country: United States
Software: Painter, Photoshop, Poser
This was a concept idea done for the Master and Servant 2D challenge. I used Poser to crank this out quickly and get a feel for the lightng and envirnoment, I doubt I'll have time to finish the challenge so here goes,
Cheers!

of course the modeling is done well, he didnt do it, Poser did.
hmmm, I guess about the only critique I could give here is, "nicely placed models".

I like the buttcrack hanging out of her skirt.
She is obviously prepared for battle:D
mayor potenitial.. nice model and nice comp.. but it needs some touch up to make it AWESOME!!... so go for it.. work on the light and shaders a bit.. feel Gooood about accomplishing utter beauty... yeah.. think about it!
hehe
good work

I like the girl but not the dragon (it looks like a DAZ of the shelf product). The overall scenery is good IMHO but some light rays would spice this image up.
Is it just me or do we see more and more poser stuff in the forum and why are 90% of all poser productions semi naked women with swords? :) (general observation).

Nice work, good composition
But I agree with Bazze, I don't like the dragon, too "daz product" look
Also, i don't like the ligth comming to his neck (where does that comes from ?
Maybe if he has glowing eyes...

You know, using Poser isn't a shame.
And even if it has well modeled characters, using it rigth is quite a job.
The job has been done here, but most important is the good composition and feeling of this picture

I see a lot of awesome work on this website but unfortunately also a lot of negativity, too bad.
The immaturity of some of the comments makes me laugh. I know a lot of you out there are just kids, if your not professional at least try to act like one.
Poser is just another tool, how good or creative you get with it is up to the talent of the individual. I have a lot of respect for those modeling from scratch, its tough no doubt, but in a studio not every body is a modeler. You have texture artists, concept artists, digital matte artists, environmental artists, storyboard artists, etc etc.
good stuff,
sure creating characters from A to z (....) is much more powerfull modeling abilities than getting a simi ready characters , but sure there's still a chance to show the creativity in the scene.
as I said good stuff

Hey, Rob, very nice work :) , man, yep, mostly kids with no stuff of their own to show, comments like that are less then constructive, so do not pay attention to that, digital art is not all about modeling (even I could put lot of those "kids" to shame when it comes to modeling  ) Keep up the good work, looking forward to see more stuff from ya
The only thing I do not like in your image are the dragon wings, IMHO, they should be posed bit more different so you can see them better, other then that, nice lightning and DOF :)
