View Full Version : Blendhsape question Maya
AndrewHwang 04-24-2005, 10:20 PM I , im pretty new to rigging but i am trying to creating blendshapes for arm deformations, i was wondering if there is a way to copy that blend shape over to the other side, it seems that maya reads it per vertex number so i cant duplicat it -1x or cut the model in half and mirror the geometry. Just wondering if there is another way.

I dont think there is.....the only thing to do (I think) is do another blendshape.....

Look up flipShape.mel by David Keegan. It's a script to mirror blend shapes, Also JasonO has joBlendTaper albiet it might not prove as usefull for you in this case.
