View Full Version : v5I seaming procedural terrain
jello3d 04-24-2005, 10:21 PM Is there any way in v5i to seam together procedural terrains? Making cliffs results in the sides of the cliff being of too low of a detail level to be useful... so I figured if I turned a terrain 90 degrees it would make a nice cliff face. it does. The problem is that I need to seam it together with the terrain at the top of the cliff. I see no way to do this.
Thoughts anyone?
thanks

Well, there are not really many modelling features in Vue.
First idea was to use Metablob with two procedural terrains. But that does not work, is not allowed (grayed out when i selected two procedural terrains).
The only thing i can see is to use boolean union for that. I tried it and it is allowed. But i am not sure wether this is the result you are looking for.
