I like design machines and robot. it is a Davil machines that I modeled in 3d max5 Textures in photoshop

like the model, hate teh textures
looks like you used the default 3Dsmax rusted metal material, you should UV map it and texture your own, will look a lot better. And i would also make the overall scene a bit darker, needs more mood, and the red eye would look scarier/better i think

Got to agree with simon here, the textures bring the model down.
If you aren't too keen on uv-mapping the object just a plain clean metal would look better (star-wars ships style) then the slightly out of scale rusted material.

Yeah I got to say I agree with the others. I really like Blackgas's idea abot clean metal look, at last try it out. I am sure it would improve the look but as always stick with what you like man.

I find that the eye needs some shinings too. It looks like it's made out of styrofoam or something like that.
