I am a newbie practicing some hard surfacing modeling that doesn't need to be smoothed or subd.
Should I keep all face in quad as possible. or Ngon is ok??
Like if u have an arch opening over a flat wall.
I am thinking of deleting the multiple edges between the arch to the straight edge of the wall to make it as a ngon.
So I got less model weight and less face to deal with while UV texturing.
There are more cases like this in Arch set modeling..
Is this is a correct way of modeling ?
Feel like to know what's the best way to model this and disadvantage against ngon model ? Thank you
