Call it a silly student question.....

Ive been reading alot resently....and I keep seeing references to 'the magic in animation'

Ive got a good idea of what there talking about....

But what do you think it is......

Magic in animation...

Well, animation is movement. But, if something just moves, that's just it, it JUST MOVES! Giving life to the characters, and being able to get a reaction from the audience is the magic I would say. When an animation can spark an emotion within the viewer... Bambi *sniff* :sad: .

I just found this and I think it works realy well

In animationarena.com Doron A. Meir says

In the life of animation there are short and rare moments of true magic, these moments are the reason I started animation, and the reason I still am one. Im talking about the moment in which you look at the animation youve just created and suddenly its alive, its there in its own rite, those are the moments of believable acting.
