View Full Version : Spline Controled Frame Speed

Is there a way to speed up a selection of frames using a spline control of some type.
So I can gradually increase the frame speed so it want just jump from 1 to the other.

Do you have the full Digital Fusion or DFX+ with module 2? In that case there is a tool (forgot what it is called) that can do it. If not, I'm afraid it isn't possible (if it is I'd be glad to know how).

I got the 1 that came with LW8 upgrade. This is a link someone else recomended. Seems like it would do the trick. TooBad I is PO. Not sure if it is spline controlled tho. Wish I could program I'd write it myself.

That site says that the DF version is $495. That is exactly the price to buy the DFX+ module 2 which includes Time Stretcher (what you want) and the other great things that come with it (module 2 is also IMO the most atractive).

Just be aware that the time stretcher is a frame blending method, as opposed to a pixel blending method like twixtor or retimer. If you're planning on a severe slowdown/speedup, perhaps one of those other plugins may be a better option.
