View Full Version : Projection mapping paint effects?

Hey Ladies and Gents,

This is the second time I ran into this problem. Instead of just doing a workaround, I thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone has come acroos, and solved, this problem.

I created a square area of 3d paint effects grass. I need to have the opacity go from fully opaque, to fully transparent. I figured, create a ramp to project onto the area of the paint effects grass, and connect it to the transparency channel of the shading attribute. Nope.

I've read the docs regarding adding textures to color or opacity, but it doesn't seem to mention projecting them. Only loading, and uv mapping them.

Anyone have suggestions?
