Title: Pet Robo With Screen
Name: Azizul Hakim @ Jijoe
Country: Malaysia
Software: Maya, Photoshop

Greetings from Malaysia!

This is actually an old model from a couple years back which I just found lying around on my harddisk, not used. Made in a few days, didn't bother to texture it, just wanted to make a wallpaper that went with the colours of my then-new SGI machine. Re-rigged it and touched up in photoshop. The final poly count almost reached a million, gave my old computer a lotta hiccups :P Thank you for your time, guys; til next time.

p.s. yup, that's my ugly mug on the screen :(

very nice model, great details. Some metal textures would look fine i think, but its great as it is now.

I have one comment though:
It cant stand on 2 feet. At least it doesnt look like it can do so. There should be at least 3 feet on the ground to make it stable.
Thats what i heared on an AI presentation at a university somewhere.

Er.. let's see, one by one.

m@lonet & .:Tr@ceR:. & stong = yeah i've got a few wireframe posts and also playblasts of the walk and run cycles, unfortunately i can't post em up yet cos i haven't filled my 2 post quota yet :( (yup, been a lurker for years)

wybl = yeah, you're right *kicks myself*

corrupto = nope, not gonna texture it.. moved past this one a long time ago.

cycom = cheahhhhh!!! miss you! ahaha yeah, it was done in just a few days - although it looks pretty complex, it's not really cos it's just a whole bunch of little pieces parented to the joints, so it wasn't really heavy to animate.

alright, i think this is the last post i'm gonna make on this one - it was finished a long time ago as far as i'm concerned. thanks for all your comments and suggestions, selamat malam! (good night) til next time

great work dude. I love the look of your model, there's just something I want to know about it, did you use poligons or nurbs or both?

I love the model. Only thing what bothers me is the screen. I would like to see thinner interlaced effect and very small glow or something on it (the "light" wich screen produces).
