For some reason my subdivision surface or polygon surface won't receive fur on any but one side. Fur attaches fine to object that haven't been subdivided to any great degree, but once an object has been subdivided, the fur will only sit on a set of faces that approximate one side of a four sided shape.
When converted to nurbs, the surfaces aren't stitched together, so they are all covered with fur succressfully, but as individual surfaces. Am I overlooking something that you could point out to me now? Does a mapping gizmo exist for fur?
Also, how do I apply fur to only selected polygons or subdivision surfaces without converting them to nurbs?
Many thanks for any suggestions
